Description
CROSflow® Self-Levelling Compound 810
Self-Levelling Compound 810 is a professional cement-based floor levelling compound designed to create a smooth, flat, and stable surface before flooring installation. With excellent flow, strong adhesion, and reliable workability, it is suitable for levelling new or existing concrete substrates in residential and commercial interior projects.
This product is suitable for internal applications where a thickness from 1mm to 50mm is required. Once correctly installed and cured, it can receive carpet, carpet tiles, and ceramic tiles after approximately 24 hours, and vinyl and timber flooring after approximately 72 hours, depending on site conditions and temperature.

Surface Preparation
The concrete substrate must be sound, clean, dry, and free from contamination before applying Self-Levelling Compound 810. The surface should be free from dust, dirt, wax, grease, asphalt, latex or gypsum compounds, old adhesive, paint, curing compounds, sealers, and any other materials that may affect adhesion.
Concrete must also be free from laitance, efflorescence, and hydrostatic pressure. Mechanical preparation is recommended, such as diamond grinding, shot blasting, scarifying, or other suitable methods, to create a clean, firm, open-pore surface. Acid washing is not recommended as a suitable method of preparation.
After mechanical preparation, remove all dust and loose particles using a suitable industrial vacuum fitted with a HEPA filter.
All concrete substrates should be fully cured and dry in accordance with relevant Australian Standards. The working environment, surface temperature, and material temperature should be between 10°C and 35°C. Where moisture levels are high, a suitable moisture vapour barrier should be applied before levelling.
Priming
Prime the prepared concrete surface with a suitable floor primer before applying Self-Levelling Compound 810. Apply the primer evenly using a soft brush, broom, or roller, then allow it to dry completely.
Very porous surfaces may require a second coat of primer if the first coat is fully absorbed. The primer should dry to a clean, thin film before the levelling compound is applied. Drying time is generally around 1–2 hours, depending on site conditions. Low temperatures may extend drying time.
Do not apply the self-levelling compound until the primer is fully dry.
Mixing Instructions
Pour 4.2–4.6 litres of clean potable water into a clean mixing container. While mixing, slowly add the full 20kg bag of Self-Levelling Compound 810.
Use a high-shear mixing paddle with a suitable electric mixer capable of approximately 600rpm. Mix for around 2–3 minutes until a smooth, lump-free consistency is achieved.
Use the mixed product within approximately 15 minutes after mixing.
Important Notes:
- Do not overwater the mixture
- Only use the recommended water volume
- Do not mix by hand
- Do not use a concrete or masonry mixer
- Do not re-mix or retemper the product after the working time has passed
- Only mix the quantity that can be applied within the working time
Coverage
A 20kg bag of Self-Levelling Compound 810 will cover approximately:
| Thickness | Approximate Coverage |
|---|---|
| 3mm | 4.1m² |
| 5mm | 2.5m² |
Coverage may vary depending on substrate condition, surface porosity, application thickness, and site conditions.
