Product Care & Maintenance Guide

The following recommendations help maintain the integrity and appearance of your products. These guidelines are advisory only and do not constitute a legal warranty or liability.

Toilet Suites & Basins – Vitreous China

  • Clean using mild household detergent or warm soapy water with a soft cloth.
  • Do not use water additives such as cleaning or deodorizing agents inside cisterns.

Toilet Seats

  • Clean using mild household detergent or warm soapy water with a soft cloth.
  • Avoid abrasive or corrosive cleaners as they remove surface gloss.
  • Periodically tighten seat hinge bolts as they may loosen over time.

Poly Marble / Plastics

  • Clean with mild household detergent or warm soapy water using a soft cloth.
  • Abrasive or corrosive cleaners may remove gloss and cause discoloration.

Scratches

Avoid sharp or hard objects. Fine marks may be removed using a cutting compound, followed by buffing with a soft cloth.

Discoloration

Avoid contact with iodine, Mercurochrome, boot polish, hair dye, bleaches, acetone, and similar substances.

Burns

Curling tongs, hair straighteners, cigarettes, and hot objects may mark the surface. Use a silicone mat for protection.

Solid Surface Products

  • Clean with mild household detergent or warm soapy water using a soft cloth.
  • Avoid harsh chemicals that may stain the surface.
  • Essential oils must be added to water, not applied directly to the surface.

Removing Stains

  1. Start with everyday cleaning methods.
  2. For persistent stains, use a damp soft cloth with a mild abrasive cream (e.g., Jif, Gumption) in light circular motions.
  3. Periodically use the included blue scourer with light circular motions to maintain lustre.
  4. Rinse thoroughly with warm water.

Tapware, Outlets, Shower Outlets & Accessories

  • Clean with mild household detergent or warm soapy water using a soft cloth.
  • Never use harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners.
  • Use a dry or damp soft cloth for dry-use products.
  • Do not use disinfectants on stainless steel components.
  • Avoid chemicals or bleaches on chrome or specialty finishes to prevent pitting and stress corrosion cracking.
  • Do not apply excessive pressure during cleaning.
  • Non-chrome finishes should be cleaned gently with warm soapy water and a soft cloth.

Tapware Aerator Cleaning

Clean every 6 months (frequency depends on water quality).

Shower Outlet Cleaning

Gently flick silicone nozzles to dislodge debris (frequency depends on water quality).

Stainless Steel Sinks & Laundry Tubs

  • Clean with mild household detergent or warm soapy water, followed by a fresh water rinse.
  • For heavier soiling, use a nylon scouring pad with mild abrasive cream (Jif, Gumption).
  • Scrub in straight motions following the grain.
  • Stainless steel scratches easily with normal use; scratches become less noticeable over time.
  • Stainless steel is rust-resistant, not scratch-resistant.
  • The chrome-nickel steel used cannot rust under normal household conditions.
  • Avoid harsh chemicals, disinfectants, or cleaners containing chlorides/halides.
  • Never use hydrochloric acid.
  • Do not leave metal items in prolonged contact with wet stainless steel.
  • Remove rust-like marks using nylon scourer and mild abrasive cleaner.

Acrylic Baths

  • Clean with mild household detergent or warm soapy water, then rinse with fresh water.
  • Avoid harsh chemicals, powders, pastes, thinners, window sprays, or dry-cleaning liquids.
  • Use acrylic cleaner for stubborn marks.
  • Test coloured bath oils, crystals, or bath bombs before use.
  • Add oils only to a full bath—never directly onto the surface.
  • Avoid sharp or abrasive objects and do not drop heavy items.
  • Never leave candles burning on the bath surface.

Vanities / Storage / Mirror Cabinets

  • Clean with mild, non-acidic, non-abrasive detergent and a soft cloth.
  • Wipe off residue and towel dry immediately.
  • Clean spills and water immediately.
  • Materials are water-resistant, not waterproof.
  • Water damage is not covered under warranty.

Mirrors

  • Clean using a 30% methylated spirits / 70% water solution.
  • Do NOT use Windex or similar chemical cleaners.
  • Avoid water contact with the back and sides to prevent silver backing damage.
  • In coastal areas, wipe edges monthly to prevent salt build-up.

Shower Screens

Glass

  • Clean regularly to prevent soap scum.
  • Use mild household detergent and a wet soft cloth; rinse thoroughly.
  • For soap scum, use a 30% methylated spirits / 70% water solution.
  • Avoid soap products in the shower area.
  • Rinse thoroughly after each use.
  • Use a squeegee for a streak-free finish.

Hardware & Seals

  • Clean with mild household detergent or warm water using a soft cloth.
  • Avoid harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners.
  • Do not use disinfectants on stainless steel components.
  • Avoid chemicals or bleaches on chrome/plastic finishes.
  • Do not apply excessive pressure.
  • Non-chrome finishes should be cleaned gently with warm soapy water.

Stone – Quartz & Marble

  • Seal stone with an appropriate sealer before use.
  • Clean with mild household detergent or warm water and a soft cloth.
  • Protect from sharp objects.
  • Use a silicone mat under hot tools (tongs, straighteners, etc.).

Granite Sink Care & Cleaning Instructions

Everyday Cleaning

Use warm water, a soft cloth or non-abrasive nylon pad, and a non-abrasive liquid cleaner.

Metallic Abrasions / Heavy Stains

Use a soft cloth or non-abrasive nylon pad with a liquid scouring product. Apply sparingly and rub lightly.

Hard Water, Calcium & Lime Deposits

Use a non-abrasive nylon pad with white vinegar. Rinse after 20 minutes. Wipe dry with a microfiber cloth.

For stubborn stains, use warm water mixed with vinegar and a non-abrasive scrubbing pad.
